Coaching Certification
ALL SAMBA Coaches/Assistant Coaches (House League, Community & Rep) are required to complete some formal coach training, the following minimums are required by Baseball Alberta/Baseball Canada. These requirements must be fullfilled before the end of May or that Coach/Assistant Coach will NOT be allowed on the field.
SAMBA endorses the education and training of all our Coaches and Assistant Coaches at all levels for the betterment of our Association and especially for the benefit of our children playing the great game of baseball. All associated fees related to the various on-line or classroom lead education and training sessions are reimbursable by SAMBA. Please keep all receipts and submit to the respective Division Directors, they will ensure submission and payment follows prior to the end of each seasson.

Respect in Sport Policy
All House League Coaches & Assitant Coaches must take this course. All Community, Competitive and Performance level Coaches & Assistant Coaches identified on the Official Team Roster must complete this course otherwise fines, game forfeit's and/or dismisals will be applied

Baseball Canada Message
The Canadian Association of Coaches has switched databases, ALL coaches must take this 60 minute FREE on-line Making Ethical Decisions (MED) Evaluation in order to be transferred from the old NCCP database (Levels 1 to 3) to the new NCCP database

RECOMMENDED For ALL House League Coaches & Assistants
House League Coaches and Co-Coaches - Ralley Cap (T-Ball) to Midget Level, bring your kids/players out and learn the basic drills and fundamentals for running effective practices for your team. St. Albert Tigers will instruct and lead the clinic on Monday night, coaches will then lead the clinic on Tuesday night under the supervision of the Tigers. This is a great opportunity to learn how to instruct the proper techniques and fundamentals of the game to your players as you work with them throughout the season
