Registration for the 2024 Season begins on January 2, 2024
This year, during the registration process, you will be asked demographic information.
Why is Baseball Alberta asking Member Organizations to collect demographic information?
The collection of self-identification data is central to equity, diversity, and inclusion efforts. Baseball Alberta and the Member are collecting this data to increase our ability to enhance programs, while recognizing and removing barriers. The demographic data being collected through the platform is consistent with how the Government of Canada solicits this information including the options you see of race/ethnicity, language and Indigenous Peoples (all of which provide “Prefer not to say” as an option). There are many factors as to why and how this data is collected: please refer to this Government of Canada website for more information.
House League Registration fees
Baseball Alberta House League Season runs from the beginning of May until the end of June.
Players Born in 2017 can register in 7U RallyCap or in 9U A

SAMBA Summer Baseball - RallyCap 7U and 9U
Summer Baseball will run from July 9 - August 15 on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
The registration fee for RallyCap and 9U Summer ball is $120 if you register when you register for spring ball. If you register after May 1 the fee is $170. Registration for summer ball only will begin on May 2.

All Rep registrations include a $100 nonrefundable Rep tryout fee.
The tryout fee for Non-SAMBA Members is a nonrefundable $150.

- For families with special requests such as keeping different age siblings together or registering them into a lower or higher division of House League play please email the appropriate House Director for more information prior to registration. SAMBA’s Executive will then deem if the request meets acceptable age and skill level guidelines.
- If you would like to pair your child with a friend so that they will play on the same team, please read the guidelines on our registration information page. Pairing requests that do not follow the guidelines will be ignored.
- Parent participation is an essential component of our program. Without volunteer help, programs/events and teams may be reduced and/or cut, please ensure to indicate where you can help out.

- Inability to pay registration fees need not prevent any child from participating. For further information please contact SAMBA’s Registrar .
No Refunds after April 1 for the Spring Season. All registrations that are not paid in full on April 1 will be cancelled.
No Refunds after June 1 for Summer Ball
There is a $25 withdraw fee.
All Credit Card transactions are charged the fees that SAMBA is assesed by the processing company. The fees are 3.55% + $0.50 per transaction.
