As summer winds down, all eyes in the West turn to one of the most exciting events on the baseball calendar. The Western Canada Prospects Series returns to St. Albert, Alberta from August 28 to August 31, 2025.
Building on Momentum
Originally launched with three provincial teams: BC, Alberta, and Manitoba. This series has quickly become a key stop in the national player identification pathway. The addition of Team Saskatchewan in 2023 elevated the competition, creating a true Western showdown where athletes compete for the chance to represent their province at the Baseball Canada Cup.
Spotlight on the Next Generation
After a strong debut last year, the 14U Division is back in 2025. The 14U games offer a first glimpse at the future of Western Canadian baseball talent.
What to Expect
Over four days, teams from four provinces will battle it out in a packed schedule full of high-level matchups. The 2025 WCPS is set to showcase the best young talent in the West in front of fans, coaches, and scouts alike.
